WE CARE ABOUT AFRICAN FOOTBALL ACADEMY

Wolei Astroturf -Sakumono TMA school Royal Sportive Football Club

one vision one goal

It is now time to initiate a football academy in Ghana, West Africa, with the aim of nurturing and producing football talents. We Care About African Football is taking steps to establish and build this football academy in the near future. The overarching vision is to develop a talent factory that can pave the way for future stars.

This initiative arises from a unique opportunity that has emerged through We Care About African Football's longstanding partnership with the football club Royal Sportive since 2017. We now feel that it is the right time to take the next step and invest in developing a football academy. Our goal is to refine football talents and open doors for those who aspire to pursue their dreams.

Through the establishment of this academy, we aim not only to shape skilled football players but also to inspire and empower young athletes to pursue their potential. We want to cultivate an environment where talent and ambition are nurtured, and where football becomes more than just a sport – it becomes a path to self-development and future success.

This decision represents a natural extension of our dedicated efforts to support football initiatives in the region. We believe that this football academy will mark the beginning of a new era in talent development in West Africa and contribute to fulfilling the dreams of many young aspiring footballers..

The Admission Process for the Academy

The talent must be developed

Here we present the team from Ghana that will help drive the development of the academy and manage its daily operations when we are ready to officially launch our football academy

The talents

Our talent coach conducts a thorough evaluation of potential future academy players, considering various criteria. This includes not only their current football skills but also their potential for development and their ability to learn and adapt.

At the academy, we strive to shape the most talented football players while also focusing on creating well-rounded individuals with a solid foundation for the future. Our goal is not only to develop the football potential of these young players but also to promote their personal growth and ability to handle challenges off the field.

We believe that the holistic approach at the academy will result in not only successful football players but also individuals equipped to face life's challenges with confidence and strength. This interplay between athletic development and personal growth is the cornerstone of our approach at the academy, and we are committed to creating a sustainable path to success for our future players.

The talents of the future

Education forms the foundation for all aspects of our academy's operations. Therefore, we place great importance on our athletes fully engaging in the classroom and consistently following their school curriculum.

Football talents are the future

What does a scout look for when evaluating a football player? When assessing talent, they look for speed, attitude, game intelligence, and technique. Some attributes are innate, such as speed, while others, like game intelligence, can be learned..

Try out camp

After a player has completed the initial selection process, we offer them a three-week trial period at our academy. During this period, they will participate in additional evaluations that allow us to assess their football skills as well as their ability to handle educational commitments. The stay at the academy enables us to observe the players in our own environment, which greatly contributes to our final decision regarding their admission to the academy and their future development.

Our vision is to create success

We are fully convinced that our extensive coaching experience and football philosophy give us the ability to develop talented football players in West Africa, specifically in Ghana.

African football players are very talented

The Academy

To become an integral part of our academy, certain prerequisites must be met before admission can occur. It is crucial that the player possesses talent while also prioritizing their education, completing their homework, and being willing to challenge themselves as a player. We view each individual as a whole, and therefore, creating a positive and safe environment is a priority. No player is alone in this process, as we will always act as their mentors and support them on their journey

Never give up

The purpose of our academy is to shape strong African football players and transform them into future role models for Africa.

How likely is it to become a professional football player? There are many factors that need to align for a dream of becoming a professional football player to come true. On average, only 1-2 players from an entire age group make it to the national team, although of course, there are more who become professionals
